Description:

The Call Center is looking for persons interested in working grave(10pm to 6am) and weekend shifts. The Call Center serves the campus community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Responsibilities:

  • Man the phone switchboard
  • Monitor fire alarm systems
  • Take maintenance calls, emergency elevator calls.
  • Monitor 911 and campus blue light calls.
  • During cold months, the operators also take interval gauge readings on the campus boiler system.

Qualifications:

  • Honest
  • Puntual
  • Responsible
  • Be able to read and follow directions
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Speak clearly on the phone, and exhibit excellent phone etiquette
  • Must be a good problem solver
  • Must be able to organize/prioritize tasks in a hectic environment
  • Use time wisely
  • Take good notes and be able to write short incident reports
