Description:
The Call Center is looking for persons interested in working grave(10pm to 6am) and weekend shifts. The Call Center serves the campus community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Responsibilities:
- Man the phone switchboard
- Monitor fire alarm systems
- Take maintenance calls, emergency elevator calls.
- Monitor 911 and campus blue light calls.
- During cold months, the operators also take interval gauge readings on the campus boiler system.
Qualifications:
- Honest
- Puntual
- Responsible
- Be able to read and follow directions
- Have excellent communication skills
- Speak clearly on the phone, and exhibit excellent phone etiquette
- Must be a good problem solver
- Must be able to organize/prioritize tasks in a hectic environment
- Use time wisely
- Take good notes and be able to write short incident reports
